Favonius Lance - Weapon Guide Genshin Impact

Favonius Lance is a four-star weapon that can get in all Wishing Events. Since it is featured in Phase 1 of this version's Epitome Invocation until July 25, 2023, you can now have a higher chance of getting this weapon! Here is the description as well as other information regarding this weapon.

A polearm made in the style of the Knights of Favonius. Its shaft is straight, and its tip flows lightly like the wind.

Description

A spear of honor amongst the Knights of Favonius. It is used in a ceremonial role at parades and reviews, but it is also a keen and mortal foe of monsters.

By studying the arbor that held firm in the wind, the craftsmen and scholars of Mondstadt would learn much of elemental affinities.

This sturdy spear not only holds a place of special honor among the Knights — it is also a crystallization of the hard work and artistry of the city's defenders.

With it in hand, they shall always remember to be disciplined, and to defend Mondstadt's freedom.

Indeed, many people have used polearms of a kind as their weapons, using the reach advantage to supplement their lack of martial skill.

Even untrained plebeians could arm themselves with sharpened wooden sticks, and they would perhaps be a match for the steel of trained soldiers.

To celebrate the overthrow of the aristocracy, long stakes, flagpoles and pitchforks were stuck all over the greenery around the city.

It was once required of all nobles to study the art of the sword, so that they might grow in stature and wisdom.

In those days, the art of the spear was reserved for foreign gladiators and traitors.

But there was once a noble scion who wielded a spear.

They said that Eberhart would enjoy the night breeze as he caught the first drops of dew with his spear tip.

An illegitimate child, Eberhart dreamed of recapturing the glory and pride of ancient nobility.

Yet, he needed greater power in order to destroy these rotten foundations. So—

Whether it was to instigate his legitimate brother to pursue his dream of becoming a phantom thief, before deceiving him and forcing him to flee,

So that he might usurp that legitimacy,

Or whether it was pledging himself as a certain spear-wielding witch's disciple to learn the fatal loophole in her art,

All the better to slay her with...

"So what if those who came after should despise me? I will do anything to achieve my goals."

It can generate many elemental particles, helping your team members and the character who wields this weapon to lower their Energy Recharge requirements. The Base ATK is decent and can be used to deal damage. Its Energy Recharge may not be the highest of all of the four-star weapons that have an Energy Recharge substat, it shines on its passive ability.

Its passive, Windfall, offers a ton of energy particles. can generate for your team, requiring you to invest a little bit in your character's Crit Rate attribute values. Additionally, as of this writing, this is the only polearm weapon that can generate that amount of Elemental Particles.

As of version 3.8, the characters can use this weapon as follows. Note that it may be added, but it was limited due to the constraints of the template.

Thoma

Thoma's shielding kit lies behind his Elemental Burst. Since he has a high energy cost on bursting it, this is a great weapon for him. At higher refinement ranks, generating more elemental particles every time you use your ability is possible, which is possible to use your Elemental Burst per rotation. It can reduce its personal Energy Recharge requirements by around 20%.

Yaoyao

Yaoyao has a great amount of energy particles that can generate using his skill; thus, it is a great support weapon for her. It also lowers her personal Energy Recharge requirements by around 20%.

Candace

Candace's usage of Favonius Lance can be used as your On-field and Off-field character. If you decide to use this weapon on her as an on-field unit, she can trigger its passive ability, generating more energy for your team. Off-field usage is also considered the best option for her as it lowers her team's energy recharge requirements. If she can receive those particles, it may reduce her Energy Recharge requirements by up to 40%.

Mika

Mika's supportive role in the Physical DPS team is essential; having this weapon on him is simply a requirement. It helps to lower the team's energy needs, especially when his Elemental Skill hits a Crit Hit on the enemies.

Yun Jin

Yun Jin's usage of this weapon can provide a team-wide advantage in lowering their Energy Recharge needs, and it is the safer option for her. However, it is not always good to invest in Crit Rate circlet as her bonus for the team is scaled off her DEF%. If you plan to use this weapon on Yun Jin, ensure she hits at least 45% of her Crit Rate, and all of your substat must have at least a Crit Rate on them.

Zhongli

Zhongli's elemental skill can create a lot of energy particles, and having this weapon equipped on him will increase its energy particle generation even more.
